Melt-in-Your-Mouth, Wild Caught Albacore Tuna Melts

We're Wild About Albacore Tuna!
We've created an irresistible recipe, using our canned Fancy Albacore tuna—we hope you enjoy this savory creation!
One 7 ½ ounce can of Fisherman's Market Fancy Albacore Tuna
6 tablespoon mayonnaise
3 tablespoon red onion, diced
2 green onions, chopped
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
dash of apple cider vinegar
2 ciabatta rolls, split
4 slices of Swiss or Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened / room temp
Let's Make It!
Preheat oven to 450°F.
In a medium bowl, mix drained Albacore tuna, mayo, red onion, green onion, and apple cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
Optional (also yummy cold!): Heat a panini press or griddle. Place a slice of cheese on top and bottom of roll halves.
Spread the tuna mixture on the bottom of each roll. Close the sandwiches and spread butter on the outsides of each roll.
Place the sandwiches on the press or griddle and cook over medium heat until the cheese is all gooey and melty-about 5 minutes. Open rolls and place in oven for about 1 minute.
Remove from oven, close sandwiches, cut in half, and enjoy!
Serve with a pint of your favorite IPA or Amber Ale
