Shipping Accuracy

Please check your address carefully. Our delivery guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute. Fisherman’s Kitchen is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of incorrect address information supplied to us.

Perishable Shipping

We ship all perishable orders via UPS. UPS does not insure perishables. Fisherman’s Kitchen cannot refund or replace perishable seafood delayed by UPS. 

Shipping Method

Perishable orders are shipped Next Day Air. Items are packed in insulated styrofoam and are designed to stay frozen for 24–48 hours during transit.

Order Cutoff Times

  • Shipping is dependent on product availability
  • Perishable orders placed after 7:00 AM PT on Wednesday will ship the following Monday
  • Perishable orders placed on Thursday, Friday, or weekends will ship the following Monday
  • No Weekend Deliveries Available for Perishable Products

Delivery Days

Perishable deliveries occur Tuesday–Thursday only, no exceptions.

Shipping is only available within the continental United States. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO or International addresses.

Shipping Method

Gift Cards, Canned Seafood, and bottled Sauces & Marinades are shipped via Ground Service. Typical delivery time is 3–7 business days, depending on destination. Holiday Season: Due to increased mail volume, shipping times may be longer than usual.

Order Processing

Non-perishable orders are typically shipped Monday through Friday. Processing and shipping timelines may vary based on product availability.

Handling and Freshness 

All perishable products shipped from Fisherman's Kitchen are shipped frozen. Items are packed in insulated styrofoam and are designed to stay frozen for 24–48 hours during transit. Unless you plan on eating the seafood meals within two days, please freeze meals immediately upon receipt. Failure to report spoilage within 48 hours of receiving the order will be at the loss of the costumer. Other defects must be reported within 15 days from receipt of order. 

  • Our perishable products, when properly stored in the freezer, will remain fresh  for approximately nine monthsImmediately refrigerate leftovers and consume within two days.
  • Bottled Sauces and Marinade products are shelf stable and when properly stored unopened, will remain fresh until the best by date on the back of the bottle. Bottled Sauces and Marinades must be refrigerated after opening.
  • Canned silver salmon, Chinook salmon and albacore tuna are fully cooked and when properly stored, can retain their flavor for up to five years (the official expiration date is five years after the canning date). Immediately refrigerate leftover canned salmon, tuna and herring in a glass or plastic container and consume within two days.
