Fisherman’s Kitchen is the creation of Fisherman’s Market owner, and long-time commercial Alaskan fishermen, Ryan Rogers. Ryan has been commercial fishing for 35+ years in South-Central Alaska. He spends his summers there aiming to catch salmon, a time he refers to as his “paid vacation.”
Fishing is a family affair for the Rogers—Ryan's daughter and son spend their summers on their pop's fishing vessel, The Cat-Bil-Lu. Debbie, Ryan's wife, was also a commercial fisherwoman.
Many of our Fish Monger crew have also fished the seas. We know our fish and, because of our ties with the local fishing community, we know the fishermen and women who bring the freshest seafood from their boats to your plate!
After years of offering take & bake options to our Market customers, we’ve expanded our business and created Fisherman’s Kitchen—our online store.

Fisherman’s Kitchen is the creation of Fisherman’s Market owner and commercial fisherman, Ryan Rogers. Ryan has been commercial fishing for 36 years in South-Central Alaska. Ryan's wife is a former fisherwoman and for the past several years, Ryan's daughter and son have spend their summers fishing along side their dad.
Rogers spends the rest of the year living in Eugene, Oregon running Fisherman’s Kitchen and Fisherman's Market, frequently traveling to the coast to haul back fresh crab and seafood right off the boat. It's because of his ties with the local fishing community that we're able to offer a true boat to oven and plate experience for our customers.

From spicy Cajun Crawfish Pie—featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives—to rich & creamy Lobster Mac n’ Cheese, we strive to create easily prepared dishes that can be enjoyed by individuals and families.
Chinook Salmon: The Chinook is the largest species of Pacific salmon and is native to the northern Pacific ocean and river systems of Oregon and western North America. The meat features high-levels of heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, a mild taste, and medium firmness. The fish is rich in oil which makes it excellent for smoking, but it tastes delicious fresh, too.
Silver (Coho) Salmon: The Silver Salmon has been called one of the best tasting varieties of salmon. Like the Chinook, it is native to the Pacific Ocean and the Northwest. It’s reddish-orange meat is medium-fatty for salmon and features a mild taste and medium firmness.
Albacore Tuna: Yields a mild, white meat that is high in protein with very little fat. Albacore is also a great source of heart-healthy Omega-3 fats. Albacore is native to oceans all over the world, but the Albacore we sell is caught right off the Oregon Coast.
