The story of the crawfish pie started at our our brick and mortar store, Fisherman’s Market. We once had four guys on the crew who hailed from that little slice of comfort food heaven: New Orleans. In a burst of nostalgic inspiration, Greeley Alder, had the idea one day to whip up some pies from his mother’s old recipes. And the rest is pretty much history. Since then, our Crawfish Pie has been met with rave reviews from both our regulars and folks just passing through, like Guy Fieri from the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. When Guy visited our quiet corner of Oregon to film a segment of his show at The Fisherman’s Market, the Crawfish Pie was his favorite dish.

No-Stress Prep: Simply Thaw, Bake, Enjoy
Once you receive your frozen Crawfish Pie, preparation is a cinch. The first thing you’ll want to do when it arrives is pop it in the refrigerator to thaw overnight. Keep this in mind when you’re ordering; arrange for your pie to arrive one day before you’re planning to serve it. When it’s thawed and ready to cook, preheat your oven to 375℉, cook for 35-40 minutes and voila! Your Crawfish Pie is ready to enjoy.
